The British Association of Social Work (BASW) Mentoring Scheme Survey
Feedback is wanted from employers of social workers in England, on whether there is a need for a mentoring scheme for social workers.
The British Association of Social Work (BASW) has commissioned Chinara Enterprises to undertake a review of the current BASW mentoring scheme and make recommendations. We recognise that this may be an area of interest for employers and as such would appreciate your feedback .
BASW England is seeking the views of those who are involved in recruiting and supporting social workers in England about mentoring. Currently BASW England runs a small mentoring scheme initially developed in support of newly qualified social workers (NQSW’s). The scheme has also been used by social workers seeking advice on returning to social work, as well as overseas social workers who need advice and guidance on working in the UK. For more information about the current scheme click here.
The survey has 8 short questions and we would appreciate your feedback by the 15th June. The link to the survey is below.
